In Canada, July and August is the best opportunity to taste fresh blueberries. Small perishable fruit, has a special sweet taste, due to its fragility, and only six weeks of harvest, fresh blueberries on the market each year only occupy 2% of the whole production, the rest are all frozen.

Blueberries are a specialty of North America, and its history can be traced back to the 1615 North American Indians, they gather blueberries along the shores of Lake Huron, some use as fresh fruit, some use as dried soup consumption in winter Junior. They believe that blueberries have a special effect, such as: blueberries soak into the tea drinking can slow the production of maternal pain, blue plum juice can treat coughs.
